Dr. Anantha Subramanian V, (Retired Professor, IIT Madras) is presently the Principal. His major area is Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering with specialization in Ship Design, Experimental and Computational Ship hydrodynamics. He has 38 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Consulting with the Industry.

- 98 Research publications comprising of Journal papers and Conference papers.
- Consultant to major Ship Design Ship Building, Research industries involving Experimental Hydrodynamics, Design Optimization, Computational Simulations both within India and International.
- Professional visits to many Ship Research Laboratories and Universities in Europe, USA, Australia and technical visits to China, Japan, Africa and the Middle East.
- Fellow Member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects, London (till 2018).
- Initiated and currently executing an ongoing Rs.2.95 crore Defence related project on the Development of Prototype Water Jet Propulsion System for the Futuristic Infantry Combat Vehicle at Ordnance Factory Medak, with funding from MHRD.
- Member, Progress review and Monitoring Committee for the ongoing National Mission Rs.300 Crore MANSUB project under the Department of Ocean Development.
- Designer and Builder of a 12m Yacht using composite sandwich vacuum infusion construction with superior homogeneity, strength and weight saving.
