The Placement Department is headed by a Placement Officer and ably supported by Assistant Placement Officers, Placement Executive Officers, Staff and Student Coordinators. The Placement Cell of CKC is proactive and highly dynamic and has been effectively placing Students into specific profiles of their choice since the inception of the College in the year 2010.
The Placement Department gets in touch with various organisations and coordinates with their Recruiting Officers for smooth drive of the campaign with least strain for Students and Recruiting Firms. Over 35 to 50 Companies on an average visit the Campus every year for recruitment of B.Tech Students to their organisations as employees.
As of now, Placements are offered by Summit Maritime Private Limited, Ocean Tech Solutions(FZC), Vector Marine and Offshore Technology, Aries Marine and Engineering Services Private Limited, S&O Maritime Services Pvt Ltd, Vedam Design, Indus Naval Architects and Marine Services LLP, Conceptia Marine, Smart Engineering and Design Solutions India Private Limited, 21 Knots Design & Consulting Pvt Ltd, Marino Navale Consultancy Private Limited, Accurant Engineers and Consultants Pvt Ltd, Global Maritime Consultants Group, Pace Marine Solutions, TCS, Incture, EY, Nissan, Experion, Infosys, 6D Technologies, Qbrust, Quest Global, Tech Mahindra, Envestnet, RDC Concrete etc. Among banks, South Indian Bank & CSB Bank, are the best pay masters. The pay package on an average is 3 LPA.
The Placement Department also provides help to Students and arrange Internship opportunities. It has secured and installed adequate software’s, and similar assistance for the Students to practice and assess aptitude throughout the Academic Year.
